Description
As the water of Oak Creek rushes by the rocks and boulders, a bright sun illuminates the red leaves of the forest. When I took this picture at the end of September the leaves were just beginning to turn, so I imagined what it might look like if all the leaves were red. Many years ago I experimented with color infrared film and the green leaves, grass, and shrubs would all turn bright red. That memory, combined with the time of year, inspired me to create this image. Photo taken along Oak Creek Canyon near Sedona, Arizona.
