An ancient Bristlecone Pine expands upward and outward to embrace both sky and earth at Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah. Trees are absolutely essential for life on this planet, but they are much more than just providers of habitat, much more than just converters of carbon dioxide and providers of oxygen. Bill Caldwell has always loved hiking and the outdoors so his artistic photography is based in the natural world--landscapes, seascapes, and macro/close-ups of flowers, leaves, rocks, and driftwood, as well as abstracts created from his macro images. After earning his BA degree in industrial and scientific photography in 1978, he spent 20 years in the US Air Force as a Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) navigator. Now he's pursuing his lifelong love of landscape and artistic photography along with his enduring interest in spirituality including certification in Integrated Energy Therapy (IET).
