Using color infrared film and a combination of filters the clouds and sky, illuminated by the setting sun, take on vibrant shades of green, yellow, and cyan. Two trees standing on a bluff overlooking the ocean are silhouetted against this colorful sunset. This color IR photograph was originally shot on Ektachrome Infrared slide film, scanned in to digital form, then digitally manipulated for artistic effect.
