Description
The sun illuminates high wind-blown clouds in this beautiful and uplifting sunset at Harris Beach State Park in Brookings Oregon. One of the definitions of the word sacred is "worthy of or regarded with reverence, awe, or respect." In this sense, I consider this place and places like this as sacred ground. I truly believe that we are all on a spiritual journey of enlightenment and we all need to connect with the spiritual beauty and energy of nature. And, if you can’t do that in person, then the next best thing is a picture or video. Digitally manipulated for a painterly/artistic effect. Copyright Bill Caldwell / ABeautifulSky Photography.
Fine art prints are available in sizes as large as 96 inches x 48 inches.

Glorious scene! I am almost lost for words to describe this beauty! It is just a deeply touching image . . .the light, the shadows, the rough, the soft, the glorious sky and the 'clutter' of life on the beach, life and death . . . Just something profound about it all! . . . .fv
