Description

Druid Arch rises above the sun on a cold winters day at Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The sun shines against a clear blue sky just above a saddle in the ridge as it illuminates a bench of solid rock that spreads out below the arch. One of the definitions of the word sacred is "worthy of or regarded with reverence, awe, or respect." In this sense, I consider this place and places like this as sacred ground.
