Looking like brush strokes made by an artist the size of an ant, this photo of crystallized vitamin C was taken through a microscope using polarized light. The polarized light revealed the structure and colorful shades in this vitamin C crystal micrograph. This is from my book, “In Search of a Beautiful Sky: A Spiritual Journey of Enlightenment Through Photography.” Digitally manipulated for a painterly/artistic effect.
