Description
Digitally enhanced macro of brain coral in shades of purple and blue with accents in green and cyan. I had this underwater photo of some brain coral that included a large section of the coral head. After working on it for awhile I still wasn't happy with the results, but when I magnified the image to look at very small parts of it, I really liked the abstract patterns I was seeing. So I cropped in on a small section of the image to make this series of abstracts. Digitally manipulated for a painterly/artistic effect. Copyright Bill Caldwell / ABeautifulSky Photography.
