Description
Close-up photo of an Angelfish in vibrant shades of orange, pink, and purple. I took this underwater photo many years ago in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. These Angelfish are already very colorful and I decided to manipulate the colors to create some new variations. Originally shot on Kodachrome slide film, then scanned in to digital form. Digitally manipulated for a painterly artistic effect. Copyright Bill Caldwell / ABeautifulSky Photography.
Large fine art prints are available up to 38 inches x 48 inches.

Bill, I really like this effect on this fish! Such glowing brilliance! L&F This artwork reminds me of an art project I did a very long time ago; I randomly covered a white art board with brightly-colored markers. Next, painted over the marker colors with Black India Ink. Finally, I scratched a colorful drawing out of the Black. Thanks for the memory connection. (-:
